Frequently Asked Questions / Testamonials

Can anyone benefit from Reflexology?
Generally speaking, the answer is Yes. There are some conditions which are classed as a Contra-indication to treatment, but these are rare and you will be asked for some information when you make your initial enquiry. All ages from the youngest babies upwards can use reflexology safely and effectively.

How many treatments will I need?
Much depends upon your condition, whether it is a chronic long-standing complaint or acute, your medication, diet and lifestyle; most clients report positively following five or six treatments at a weekly interval. Adjustments to treatment plans are made continually in discussion with you, the Client.

How much will this cost?
Initial Consultation and treatment at the clinic is £35.00 (please allow up to 2 hrs)
Subsequent treatments £25.00 (1 hour).

HOME VISITS by arrangement:
Consultation and first treatment: £40.00
Subsequent treatments: Up to 10 mile radius: £30.00 / Between 10 & 15 mile radius: £35.00

Can I be accompanied?
Yes, subject to prior notification.

How will I feel after my treatment?
This varies from person to person, and you will be given written aftercare advice for home reference with contact numbers for queries or concerns. Most clients feel very relaxed, but there are occasions when side effects can be experienced, but these are often minor in nature and short-lived. Generally any reactions are to be viewed positively as this is often an indication of your body re-balancing prior to the commencement of the self-healing process.

How do I pay?
By cash, or cheque supported by Bank card.

What is your qualification, and what insurance do you have?
I am a full member of the Association of Reflexologists. To visit the Association of Reflexologists just CLICK HERE to go straight to it. I hold both Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurances, and my policy and membership card can be viewed upon request.

Do you have a practice policy?
Yes. My aim and objective is to treat each client as an individual and to deliver treatment to the best of my ability; to work in partnership with the Client. I ask that any cancellation is notified. If an appointment is missed without prior notification the full treatment cost will be charged. I regret that unless 24hrs notice is given for cancellations a charge of 50% will be made.
